[jira] Created: (INFRA-3379) Allow owners to delete or hide
attachments from public view
Allow owners to delete or hide attachments from public view
-----------------------------------------------------------
Key: INFRA-3379
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-3379
Project: Infrastructure
Issue Type: Improvement
Security Level: public (Regular issues)
Components: Bugzilla
Reporter: Sebb
Bugzilla does not currently allow attachments to be deleted, even by the originator.
This is a problem if the originator discovers that some sensitive data has been accidentally uploaded.
JIRA can be set up to allow deletion of attachments by the originator; it would be useful if Bugzilla could too.
If it's desired to keep history, then the attachment could be made inaccessible somehow rather than physically deleted.

Resolution: Invalid
Bugzilla enhancements should be logged with the Bugzilla project. The current BZ functionality is that only BZ system administrators can delete bugs and/or attachments.
