Here is an overview of the issue:
---------------------------------------------------------------------
        Key: MAVEN-193
Summary: jar:deploy failed. Error message - "ssh: c: no address associated with hostname."
       Type: Bug

     Status: Assigned
   Priority: Major

 Time Spent: Unknown
   Estimate: 0 minutes

    Project: maven
  Component: plugin-java
   Versions:
             1.0-beta-7

   Assignee: Jason van Zyl
   Reporter: Willie Vu

    Created: Fri, 10 Jan 2003 8:35 AM
    Updated: Fri, 10 Jan 2003 8:35 AM
Environment: W2K or WinXP.

Description:
When jar:deploy is run, I got the following error:

java:jar:
    [touch] Creating C:\wks\fooroot\foo\target\Manifest.mf
    [jar] Building jar: C:\wks\fooroot\foo\target\foo-1.0-dev.jar
[echo] Moving c:\wks\fooroot\foo/target/foo-1.0-dev.jar to the /var/www/html/maven/foo/jars on ahost.foo.com
	[echo] ahost.foo.com -l ctwillie 'mkdir -p /var/www/html/maven/foo/jars
	[echo] c:\wks\fooroot\foo/target/foo-1.0-dev.jar ctwillie@ahost.foo.com:/var/www/html/maven/foo/jars
[exec] ssh: c: no address associated with hostname.

It seems like path separators are mixed up that cause the problem.
