[jira] [Created] (SLING-9584) Support disabledForSelectors for pipeline configuration

Muhammad Naveed created SLING-9584:
--------------------------------------

Summary: Support disabledForSelectors for pipeline configuration
                 Key: SLING-9584
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SLING-9584
             Project: Sling
          Issue Type: Improvement
          Components: Extensions
    Affects Versions: Rewriter 1.2.2
            Reporter: Muhammad Naveed

Currently the pipeline configurations can be filtered based on paths, contentTypes, resourceTypes, extensions and selectors.
However, it is not possible to skip/disable the pipeline processing for some specific selectors.

For example, we would like to skip the pipeline processing when the selector is either "0.20" or "0.40". This selector is used in AEM Touch UI sites view when the user is browsing through pages. Even the page is not opened to view its contents, the pipeline processing is till applied.
This feature should help in improving the Author performance.
