This will install the bash completion file on the system. I have also submitted a patch upstream (https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HADOOP-8795) to make this feature work when the "hadoop" executable is placed elsewhere in the PATH - so that will be available in the next Hadoop release. Keep in mind that until then, tab completion will only work if the path to the hadoop executable is specified on the command-line.
