should only occur if the passed object is already
locked (e.g. by another thread)

Hi Fred,
try to call tx.join() in your Action class to
associate the current thread with this tx.
Please send "usage questions" to the user-list
(to help user with same problems). Thanks.
regards,
Armin

Hi again,
I think i finally understand my problem. So i have a
new and more simple question. I hope someone will help
me... I'm using Struts...
Is it possible to lock an object within a transaction
in an Action Class that prepares a JSP file and to
commit this transaction in the Action Class that
receives datas from the JSP file... In the facts, it
seems i loose my transaction...
If not, what advice could you give me to update my
object properly ?
Thanks in adance, Fred
