Request for review of jena-sdb distribution
Hi,
I've recently revived the Jena SDB binary distribution, i.e. the
building zip and tar archives that contain the necessary jars, command
line tools and example configuration files required to create and
maintain an SDB database. See JENA-1118 for details.
The first snapshot builds have been auto-built and are available in the
Maven snapshot repository:
https://repository.apache.org/content/repositories/snapshots/org/apache/jena/jena-sdb/3.1.0-SNAPSHOT/
In particular, the files
jena-sdb-3.1.0-20160118.225049-34-distribution.tar.gz
jena-sdb-3.1.0-20160118.225049-34-distribution.zip
(or whatever is the newest when you read this)
I have updated the LICENSE and NOTICE files based on similar files from
apache-jena, but there may be problems I haven't spotted.
So I'm asking for a review of
- the binary distribution itself, i.e. does it contain what it should?
- the included LICENSE and NOTICE files
Worrying about this now will make it easier to get the next Jena release
out.

Looks very good.
I checked
* LICENSE and NOTICE
* Set environment variables and created/loaded/queried a Derby-backed
database.

PS And the scripts are faster when not being overly dynamic about
setting the classpath with maven.

Hi!
So far there has been only one public response (thanks Andy!). If there
are no further opinions about this within 24 hours, I will assume that
there's a lazy consensus and conclude that the SDB distribution is good.
