[jira] [Created] (SOLR-8883) Create a convenient way to get the configset name from the CoreDescriptor

Erick Erickson created SOLR-8883:
------------------------------------

Summary: Create a convenient way to get the configset name from the CoreDescriptor
                 Key: SOLR-8883
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SOLR-8883
             Project: Solr
          Issue Type: Improvement
            Reporter: Erick Erickson

Currently, if you are in say an UpdateRequestProcessorChain getting the configset from the CoreDescriptor you have to work with is convoluted and requires a ZK read.

Perhaps enhance CloudConfigSetService? Or CoreDescriptor itself?
