slide-admin user creation bug

I wonder if I have discovered a bug in Slide-admin. I have posted this
problem in slide-user before, and received no reply.

Tomcat server.xml is configured to use JDBCRealm, and I can add users
directly to the database using SQL. However, the Slide-admin webapp refuses
to add users to the database, and will not display the users that are
currently in the database.

I am thinking that Slide-admin should know to use the Tomcat user store
settings, and the bizarre thing is that I can log in to Slide-admin as the
user from the JDBCRealm database, but then it doesn't seem to recognise its
existence from then on! I have trawled the config files and I can find no
setting to tell Slide-admin about JDBCRealm (unless it is done thru some
kind of init-parameter that I don't know about), so I am concluding that it
is a bug (hence this email going also to slide-dev; but also, no-one in
slide-user seems to be replying to this problem).

Any kind of feedback whatsoever would be very helpful. If I am overlooking
something very simple, please tell me rather than ignoring the post as I am
now at a complete loss and I have no other way of finding out.

Many thanks

Stu
