   That is true @percyashu, I already submited a patch for Drizzle in https://github.com/krummas/DrizzleJDBC/pull/48.
   
   With this research I did other pull request in OpenJPA in https://github.com/apache/openjpa/commit/26b1f6be289f1eacfb72f2998c360ff6dc692920 which is now merged.
   
   With this patched version I was able to run fineract using inclusive MySQL 8.0.12
