   unless you enable `hoodie.datasource.write.reconcile.schema`, don't think #2927 would cause any issue as such. From the stack trace, looks like schema has changed?
   Can you confirm if there are no schema changes ? 
   or whats the scheme change? 
   and as raymond suggsted, can you try with spark 3.0.1 may be.
