How to test Apache proxy cache efficiency ?

Hi,

I would like to test my Zope WEB application server. It use a frontal
Apache
with proxy cache. I've builded simples tests (with Cache-Control:
max-age=1000000, I know ma Apache proxy cache is 86400) and I think
JMETER
doesn't use Apache proxy cache and all requests responses come from Zope
server...

1. Is there anybody to explain me how to build a HTTP header correctly
using
proxy cache ?

2. If anybody know a good documentation about HTTP header cache
parameters
I'm very interresting.

Thanks.

Servlet Testing?

Posted by Trevor Johnson <tr...@caris.com>.
Hi,

I have an application that is currently designed as an applet and servlet
that I would like
to test however I cannot get JMeter to respond to any web requests because
the only
HTML page is the initial index.html page.

I used Badboy to try and record a session where a number of actions were
taken but
nothing gets recorded except for the initial hit on index.html.

How do I test an application like this? Does anyone have a small sample?

Thank you

Trevor
