Tomcat + Cocoon

I read in the docs that the release Tomcat 3.0 don't
work with Cocoon but that problem was/is to be fixed
soon.

have this been done yet? where do I find the new
Tomcat?

Tomcat 3.1 Milestone 1 works with Cocoon, at least on my system...
