   Hello Haodeon, 
   Maybe this feature that you have read about depends on this PR. However, I am not 100% on that.
   Now, about the PR getting merged; it is only a matter of having a volunteer (do you have people in your team to do that?) to fix the conflicts and improve the code with the reviews comments. Afterwards, when tests pass, we for sure will merge it.
   
   The problem here was that the company proposing this PR just left it hanging out there, and did not engage with the community.
