Re: Looking for volunteer to take over RM for 3.0.x

Hey folks,

sorry for the long silence.

Brian, Jim - thank you for the volunteering.

Eric: Unfortunately, an RM should also have
write permission to our git repositories.

This however, doesn't keep you from doing what I
just did in Jira:

https://issues.apache.org/jira/secure/IssueNavigator.jspa?reset=true&mode=hide&sorter/order=ASC&sorter/field=priority&pid=12310963&customfield_12310271=12320055

in preparation for a 3.0.5 release

So long,

i

Your decision now ;)
When you announce that you'd like to cut a release, but no one
is voting, you're either doing a bad job at "motivating" us, or
chose a bad time, because people are busy with other things.

Btw, I see you haven't added your GPG key to our KEYS file yet.

It's found here:

  https://dist.apache.org/repos/dist/release/trafficserver

where we also push tar balls for releases to be mirrored.

Cool, so do we have a target date for a 3.0.5 or are we going to focus our
efforts on 3.2 and release 3.0.5 when the there is enough bug fixes?

tbh, with Brian being new to the team, I'd like him to
tackle this one to learn the ropes (:
You already know how this works - So you, me, and all
others can support him in this.

I saw that Brian volunteered before I did and so, if he is
still willing, I'd be happy to accept his offer :)
