Xalan 1.4 with Xerces 1.6?

Hi,

With the up-coming new release of Xalan 1.4, I am planning to upgrade Xalan
from 1.3 to 1.4 in order
to get some new features.  But for some testing/compatibility problems, I
wish to continue using Xerces 1.6 
in our product.  Is there any known problem for using Xalan 1.4 with Xerces
1.6?

Any comment is appreciated.
