Confusion about annotations in Tapestry

I am confused about annotations in Tapestry, I see Howard make reference
to annotation support in Tapestry 4, which I assume he developed. Then
I see annotations support at
http://paloalto.laughingpanda.com/mediawiki/index.php/Tapestry_Annotations.

Are these two different implementations of annotations for Tapestry or
are they one in the same?

thanks for helping clear up my confusion.

Re: Confusion about annotations in Tapestry

Yes, there are two different Tapestry 4.0 annotation packages.

The *proper* one is in CVS head, and will be part of Tapestry
4.0-beta-1, which will be available soon.

I haven't seen the source for the other annotation package, but it
required some configuration in order to operate. The proper
tapestry-annotation JAR just needs to be on the classpath.

The other change is that LaughingPanda tries to tackle the abstract
class issue in Tapestry, whereas the project's annotations are applied
to abstract accessors and other methods.
