VOTE: Release apache-solr-ref-guide-4.7.pdf

I've generated a release candidate for the 4.7 version of the Solr Ref
Guide.

https://dist.apache.org/repos/dist/dev/lucene/solr/ref-guide/apache-solr-ref-guide-4.7-RC0/

There are still a few things in 4.7 that aren't documented yet, but
everyone seems a bit strapped for time and we could possibly wait a long
time if we keep waiting.

Because Confluence got upgraded since the last time we did this, there were
several formatting issues we had to resolve. There may yet still be more
issues we've missed so please raise any you think should be addressed.

The items not yet documented are not crossed off the To Do list at
https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/solr/Internal+-+TODO+List. I'm
happy to cut another RC if someone still wants to add or change something.

+1 from me.

- Cassandra

That sounds great! I was thinking whether it would make sense to fold in
the current Suggester page under Spell Check (as it uses the Spell Check
component to serve the suggestions)? I will add the documentation as
comments on a new page anyways.

Great, Areek, thanks for offering to do that. I also thought about where to
put documentation on the new Suggester, and at this point I think if you
add it as a new page (perhaps "under" the current Suggester page), we can
do something like what we did for Highlighting, which is to have a page
that describes each option with a short intro page. See
https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/solr/Highlighting for the model
I'm thinking of. If you add your content, I'll gladly fix up the
organization afterwards.

I think I'll continue ahead with releasing the 4.7 guide without that, so
once you get the chance to add your content it will be ready for the 4.8
version when it's time for that - unless, of course, people object to that
plan.

Regarding documentation of the new Suggester Component (listed in the
internal TODOs already), I was wondering where to put it in the ref guide?
There is already docs for the older suggester (based on top of spellcheck) (
https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/solr/Suggester) taking up the
'Suggester' page. I think the new suggest component can use its own page
instead (it does not depend on spellcheck and is different from the older
one in terms of response/request etc). Should the page be named 'Suggest
Component'? (this might be confusing?). Thoughts?
I will try to get the full documentation for the new component out by early
next week.

FWIW...

* sarowe noted on IRC that this RC doesn't have the footer w/page numbers
* cassandra used a private confluence install to reproduce w/our layout & css
* cassandra then realized that deleting the PDF *title* page fixed the problem
* that led me to realize the PDF title page had an unclosed div tag from
when i added the trademark disclaimer
* fixing that PDF title page fixed the footers

Cassandra: not sure if you want to respin an RC1 with this fix or not.
