Reg - Clustering
Hi,
Could you please help me out on the following questions:
1. Is apache sling supports clustering and session replications between the nodes?
2. Is it recommended to use the HttpSessions in my project if I use the Apache Sling server?
If yes, please share the me the documentation. Thanks in advance.

I believe the original question was “Does Sling support HTTP Session replication”.
Not disagreeing with any of the points being made regarding maintaining RESTful nature of Sling applications (+1 on all of them). But, I believe correct answer is that such capability is not even a concern of a framework like Sling.
HTTP Session replication is functionality of application servers. So, if Sling is deployed into app server that supports it then technically it should be possible. Although, it is not recommended.
Cheers,
Henry

+1,
Including any tokens that might authorise the request. i.e. Nothing
stored. Zero server (memory and disk) footprint per client. Capacity
correlated to request traffic, not number of clients.

I'd put that a bit differently, "stateful content on the server" is
perfectly fine, managing a long-lived shopping cart as server-side content
for example is perfectly fine.
What we recommend against is HTTP sessions, as you indicate, but if said
content has a unique URL that's protected by access control you're fine.

http://sling.apache.org/documentation/bundles/discovery-api-and-impl.html
Sling supports clustering of the underlying content repository.
Sling , being a REST based platform, doesn't recommend stateful content
on the server. So it's not recommended to use HttpSessions.
