[HTTPClient][PATCH] Add support for Digest authentication to the Authenticator class

Folks,

Here's some code initially whipped up by Geza for Apache Axis, now adapted to HTTPClient that adds
support for Digest authentication to the Authenticator class. I have tested this code against
tomcat 4.0.4 with a sample code that calls an Apache Axis Web Service. One caveat according to
Geza, the code "Right now does not support qop-int".

Am also interested in "Convert to commons-logging" item as well to make it easy to use HTTPClient
as an optional transport mechanism to Apache Axis.

Please let us know...

Thanks,
dims

Great. It looks good and the tests work.

Just a note that as a contributor you have the right to put your name in the authors list at the top
of every file you modify in a patch.

Davanum,
+1
The patch looks good to me. It sure will be nice to have digest authentication support in
HttpClient.
Is it possible to provide some unit test cases in TestAuthenticator.java?
