[jira] [Commented] (REEF-1260) Adding a sample for Context Start
handler
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/REEF-1260?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=15198517#comment-15198517 ]
Markus Weimer commented on REEF-1260:
-------------------------------------
Can we make this a set of tests? They could validate that:
1. {{ContextStart}} actually fires.
2. Context configuration makes it to the Evaluator.
3. Tasks have access to that Configuration.
4. Subsequent Tasks get the same instances of objects managed in the Context.
5. {{ContextStop}} actually fires.

> For fault tolerant, we need to start data downloading portion when context is started. Creating a sample code for it as a test case would be useful.
> The sample should show:
> * How to write a ContextStartHandler
> * How to bind it to Context configuration
> * How to inject a data dolowder to the handler
> * Where to start data downloading
> * How to check the status in task
