First 3.8 beta?
Hi All
Does anyone fancy being the 3.8 release manager? If no-one else wants to,
I can probably do a beta release in a few weeks time, once I've got the
TNEF stuff finished. Otherwise, if someone wants to roll a release sooner,
that'll give people a chance to test the new NPOIFS lower memory support.
(I'll hopefully have a chance to look at doing some write support for
NPOIFS once the TNEF stuff is finished, for now NPOIFS only read-only, but
much lower memory and a bit faster, which should help people doing text
extraction stuff)

I can do a beta by March 1 and then 3.8-final in April.
I'm working on ExcelAnt and need at least one week to finish. March 1 is
a realistic date when I have everything done.

For a beta, or were you thinking we'd aim to do a beta very soon and aim
for the final release in April?
