Portlet performance

Hello

I am new to jetspeed development.

I had a question about performnace

If multiple portlets use same velocity template and
action class will it degrade the performance.

Infact i have 5 portlet which use same vm template to
render themselves and same action class to query the
db.

Will every portlet instance have a different instnace
of action and template object
