[jira] [Commented] (TAP5-1834) Warn user or disallow zone with randomly generated id

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TAP5-1834?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=15430528#comment-15430528 ]

Geoff Callender commented on TAP5-1834:
---------------------------------------

Please reopen this issue! It is totally valid and a source of great frustration that repeatedly surfaces in the user mailing list.

Please make it a fatal exception for a Zone to have no developer-assigned id. IMHO, you could even make it an exception if the values of t:id and id aren't equal.

> Zone with an id generated randomly(ajax request) is useless and confusing developers, is such case there should be a warning or even an exception.
