Another way to think about the mobile layout is to consider each page (tab) in Rave to be rather like an app list screen in the mobile device, from which the user can "launch" the widget e.g.:

http://mollyproject.org/

http://mancunia.mobi/

http://m.bangor.ac.uk/

This would mean you could share a Rave page as a kind of mobile app collection.

This would work great with W3C Widgets, most of which have mobile-app-style icons and layouts anyway, but may be less optimal for OpenSocial gadgets with the different icon aspect ratio.
