[jira] [Updated] (KUDU-2012) Kudu Flume sink authn support
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/KUDU-2012?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:all-tabpanel ]
Mike Percy updated KUDU-2012:
-----------------------------
Summary: Kudu Flume sink authn support (was: Kudu Flume sink auth support)
Implementation note: This is mostly a matter of plumbing. This should be similar to the authentication we do for other sinks such as the HDFS sink. We need to add a configuration parameter to provide a path to a keytab and if that is present and do a kinit to run the kudu client in an authenticated environment.

> We need to add Kerberos support to the KuduSink. As of 1.3.x it won't work on secure clusters.
