Hi,
I tried installing Hop 2.17 on Windows server and when opening it doesn't get any of the old config. Config Folder ( a wonderful feature) is set up and is correct in GUI.
I currenty use Hop 2.15 and also tried Hop 2.16 installation, and it found my config and projects nicely. Any hints how to easily import config to 2.17 so I could try it later?
I thought I had a bug or similar with db lookup (in 2.15) but it was my own fault and mistake. So there is no hurry with answering this question.

Unless you have set the `HOP_CONFIG_FOLDER` environment variable as described [here](https://hop.apache.org//manual/latest/installation-configuration.html#_set_system_environment_variables) the configuration is stored in the config folder inside the applicaiton, copying over the folder from your previous installation will recover all settings

Yes, I can attach pics too. It seems to read it partly, because I can choose my default project to what I have. I then restarted gui and still the same. Config folder is on separate disk from HOP installations.

It is set to another disk and shows correct path in GUI but somehow not "active" still. 2.16 works fine with just extract and starting hop-gui.bat.

And your projects are not there when you press the "More Projects" button in the new dialogs at the bottom?

Can you check if it is reflected in the startup command in the terminal?
You could also confirm under settings -> system variables if it is set correctly

Thank you. I Found them! And also DB connections etc. are there and working. A little bit unintuitive first and too fast reading of https://hop.apache.org/blog/2026/02/hop-2.17.0/#_new_location_and_appearance_for_projects_and_environments but I'll adjust to this change in a minute.
