[jira] Created: (MPOM-7) Enable GPG Agent when signing releases
Enable GPG Agent when signing releases
--------------------------------------
Key: MPOM-7
URL: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MPOM-7
Project: Apache or Maven Parent POMs
Issue Type: Improvement
Components: Apache Parent POM
Reporter: Brett Porter
Assignee: Brett Porter
Fix For: apache-parent-9
Having to type the gpg.passphrase in as a plaintext property is annoying when unnecessary, and the default interactive entry doesn't work well in the release plugin's forked execution.
Enabling the agent has no negative effect for those that aren't running it and have specified the password, but can allow a cleaner entry when it is.
