Japanese Fonts in PDF - special case

Hello,
I have this special case of Japanese PDF generation. I am developing an
application that will generate PDF on end user machines. This way I don't
know what fonts are available to them. I also can't ship font with my
application and embed it - fonts are copyrighted.

Do you have any suggestions?

Maciek

Look for http://savannah.nongnu.org/projects/freefont/
There are some free fonts, they look nice as far as I can tell, but I
don't know what the Japanese glyphs' status is there.

Anyway there *are* free fonts to be found. Have faith! :)
