working with 2 branches in GIT at the same time: git worktree

For the UIMAJ project, we have two master branches:  "master" for version 3, and
"master-v2" for version 2.

Often, changes need to be applied to both.

It seems there's a new-ish git functionality that supports this: git worktree.

I haven't tried it, but might soon.  If anyone else has, please respond with any
experiential feedback.

One thing I saw is that there may be issues using the git support in Eclipse.
