gzip content-encoding support

Brent,
I am not entirely sure what to do about this one. My opinion is that Httpclient
MUST automatically handle transfer encoding which is supposed to be competely
transparent to the HttpClient consumer, however dealing with content encoding
should remain the responsibility of the HttpClient caller. Does anyone see that
differently?

Oleg
