The dcc test fails on Solaris 10. It does not fail on Solaris 8. I noticed
this while checking the test 3.2.4 tarball, but 3.2.3 does the same thing.
It is test 4 that is failing and I find the following error logged by dccproc:
Jan 4 21:34:26 mackerel.adi.com dccproc[1776]: [ID 702911 mail.error]
"-a 255.255.255.255": Unknown host
Jan 4 21:34:34 mackerel.adi.com dccproc[1779]: [ID 702911 mail.error]
"-a 255.255.255.255": Unknown host
Jan 4 21:38:39 mackerel.adi.com dccproc[1863]: [ID 702911 mail.error]
"-a 255.255.255.255": Unknown host
Jan 4 21:38:47 mackerel.adi.com dccproc[1867]: [ID 702911 mail.error]
"-a 255.255.255.255": Unknown host
And sure enough when I look at log/d.dcc/3 I see that there is a line
that says 'Received: from [255.255.255.255]'
Note that both machines are running the same Perl and the same dccproc
(not just the same version, but the same executables). It seems that
Solaris 10 does not like 255.255.255.255 whereas Solaris 8 has no problem.

Sure. And I ment to mention that dcc works ok in production. I also ment
to mention that after seeing this I upgraded DCC to 1.3.80 from the 1.3.31
I had been running with no change.

That fixes it. Tried it on 3.2.4, 3.2.3, 3.2.2 & 3.2.1. Now works on both
Solaris 10 and Solaris 8.
