In order to get any help you will need to provide much more information than
what you have provided.  What version of Apache did you install?  What specific
telnet testing are you performing?  What exact error messages are you receiving,
both during your telnet testing (any messages that appear on the screen) and in
the error log file (the path to which is in the httpd.conf file).
