   install cordova plugin add cordova-plugin-statusbar   (check api for more information cordova-plugin-statusbar)  and add below preferences in config.
   preference name="StatusBarOverlaysWebView" value="false"
     preference name="StatusBarBackgroundColor" value="#000000"
     preference name="StatusBarStyle" value="lightcontent"
