[jira] [Commented] (ZOOKEEPER-1655) Make jline dependency optional in maven pom

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ZOOKEEPER-1655?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13782408#comment-13782408 ]

Patrick Hunt commented on ZOOKEEPER-1655:
-----------------------------------------

I'm concerned about this change for 3.4. It's less of a bug fix and more of an improvement imo - a change which could destabilize existing downstream users. It's easy enough to specify an exclude if you don't want.

I'm good for changing this in trunk, but I don't see this for a fix release on a stable branch. (just my opinion though, lmk if you feel strongly otw).

If this is ok lmk and I'll commit to trunk.
