[jira] [Commented] (DTACLOUD-137) deltacloud - Eclipse plugin

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DTACLOUD-137?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13199779#comment-13199779 ]

André Dietisheim commented on DTACLOUD-137:
-------------------------------------------

I dont completely understand what you are trying to do.
Deltacloud has no Eclipse tooling in their repo.

There is Eclipse tooling for Deltacloud in JBoss Tools though:

http://www.jboss.org/tools/download

The plugins in JBoss tools use the java client that is in the Deltacloud repo @apache. The usage scenarios were captured in a screencast early last year:
https://community.jboss.org/en/tools/blog/2011/02/28/deployment-to-the-cloud-with-jboss-tools-delta-cloud

Unfortunately we had no time left to work on the Deltacloud Eclipse plugins lately and I'm not quite sure how well the tools available from us still work with the current Deltacloud releases.
We'd of course appreciate any kind of contributions. So if you have some love and time to give'em, we'd be more than happy :)
