Hello and welcome to the Calcite project!

The Calcite PMC invites contributors to become committers on a 
case-by-case basis. However, anyone can be a contributor and start 
contributing code to Calcite. I've added your account to the contributor 
role on jira, so you should now have access to contributor permissions.
