[jira] [Resolved] (QPID-3565) IPv6 support for SSL transport on
Unix C++ client/broker
Posted by "Andrew Stitcher (JIRA)" <ji...@apache.org>.
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/QPID-3565?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:all-tabpanel ]
Andrew Stitcher resolved QPID-3565.
-----------------------------------
Resolution: Fixed
Due to the refactoring that happened for QPID-4272 the SSL code now shares the same connection establishment code as TCP in all cases so SSL over IPv6 should now work as it does for IPv4.

Andrew Stitcher updated QPID-3565:
----------------------------------
Component/s: (was: Qpid Managment Framework)
(was: python tools)
(was: Python Client)
(was: Java Client)
(was: Java Broker)
Environment: Unix
SSL should already work over IPv6 on Windows due to the way the protocols are layered there. The ideal fix for the Unix port would be to use a similar layering for Unix, only handing the socket to NSS after it has been accepted by the TCP code.
