[jira] [Created] (CB-6680) clarify instructions for installing via npm and sudo

Marcel Kinard created CB-6680:
---------------------------------

Summary: clarify instructions for installing via npm and sudo
                 Key: CB-6680
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CB-6680
             Project: Apache Cordova
          Issue Type: Improvement
          Components: Docs
            Reporter: Marcel Kinard
            Priority: Minor

The Linux person inside me says that using sudo to install and run things ought to be avoided if possible.

Thanks,
Bryan

That fixed it, thanks Michal.

I was able to assign issues to self earlier, which is why it seemed like a loss of permissions.

You were in the list of contributors, but were missing from the list of PMC
on JIRA, so I added you. Were you able to assign issues to self earlier?
I'm not actually sure which roles are needed for what.

Jira permissions?

I don’t seem to be able to assign this issue to myself. Did I lose some Jira karma, or is Jira misbehaving this morning (besides being slow)?
