Java failure

¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
 Hallo cocoon-users,

Im new on this Maillinglist and I have got a Problem.
We use Cocoon 1.7.4 with Sun JDK / IBM JDK, Apache 3.12
   on Linux Redhat.

The Cocoon Package works fine, when the Traffic on the Webserver
is low, but when the Load of the Server grows, the Cocoon Package
   goese down.

I get no Failure Message, but in the Processlist I can see, that
   a JAVA Thread is hanging!

Have any one seen this Problem??

(Im sorry about the bad english)

According to Volano, the sweet combo for linux right now is blackdown
1.2.2rc4 with inprise/borland JIT.

My testing shows that the new IBM 1.3 JVM crashes under heavy load. But
the same tesing shows that the Sun JVM with Borland's JIT runs well. The
Sun JVM is running green threads. I'm not sure if the Sun VM can use
native threads. I would also be interested in seeing what Blackdown's
version can do.

do other servlets continue to function? if not, you need to expand the
scope of your analysis to include the servlet engine and the JVM.

have you tried increasing the amount of memory available to your JVM? what
sort of traffic does it take to kill your cocoon?
