[jira] [Created] (IGNITE-20163) Sql. Investigate how to JSON functions in BinaryTuple-based execution.
Maksim Zhuravkov created IGNITE-20163:
-----------------------------------------
Summary: Sql. Investigate how to JSON functions in BinaryTuple-based execution.
Key: IGNITE-20163
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/IGNITE-20163
Project: Ignite
Issue Type: Improvement
Components: sql
Reporter: Maksim Zhuravkov
Fix For: 3.0
After migration to BinaryTuple-backed it is not possible to store arbitrary data in row fields because every field is typed, hence it is not possible to support JSON functions (functions that return type ANY). Investigate how to support such case from BinaryTuple-backed rows.
