log4j jar file problem

Hello,

in my application i use log4j. it compile and execute properly on jbuilder5
on windows NT/2000.
it compile and execute properly on my linux os too.
i created a jar file with a manifest and when i execute my jar file i have
this error :

Excpption in thread main  java.lang.NoClassFoundError:
org/apache/log4j/Category

i tried lot of thing and any version of log4J

need help thank's a lot.
