Mavne2 updates to local repository in a closed area
Greetings,
I support a team of Java professionals working in a closed area.
I have been supplying them with a frequently updated distribution of Maven2
artifacts.
They get written to an external hard drive and rsync'd against the last
update in the closed area.
Since Maven2 no longer supports rsync, is there a repository management
system capable of automatically going out and resolving updates in Maven2 as
compared to my current repository?
If done often enough, updates should be minor.
Thank you,
David

You'd have to ask the developers who build/support the repository
manager or check the repository manager's website for information
pertaining to features.

Hello,
Thank you very much for this link.
I have seen this and already installed Apache Archiva on our system
connected to the internet.
Add and artifact to your POM, and Archiva can be configured to go out and
get it.
But in a closed area, and updated POM cannot go out to the internet for an
update.
Can a repository manager be setup to check for updates to an existing
repository rather than searching within a POM?
Thank you,
David
