[jira] [Commented] (MARMOTTA-150) BNodes are a dead end in the Linked Data Explorer

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/MARMOTTA-150?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13601715#comment-13601715 ]

Thomas Kurz commented on MARMOTTA-150:
--------------------------------------

BNodes must not supported by any LD endpoint. The so called LD explorer is just an html serialization of LD resources. Nevertheless we could support such an special endpoint for BNodes and link to it. But I fear that it gives a wrong image to people, that are not so familiar with LD concepts.

> Anonymous resources (aka BNodes, blank nodes) are a dead end in the Linked Data Explorer.
> The table just shows the node-id of the bnode, but you can't go any step further.
> Two possible solutions:
> - provide a webservice to access bnodes (see https://dvcs.w3.org/hg/rdf/raw-file/default/rdf-concepts/index.html#section-skolemization)
> - expand bnodes inline in the table
