I have found that bundles org.apache.servicemix.bundles.spring-context and org.apache.servicemix.bundles.spring-orm import a number of hibernate packages, with version range [4,5) for hibernate validator and [3,5) for all other hibernate packages. This makes it impossible to use Spring 4.3 with Hibernate 5, even though Spring 4.3 has support for Hibernate 5 and the above bundles even export the related packages.
Checked for version 4.3.5.RELEASE_1 and above.
