jackrabbit-core-1.1.jar not found

Hi,

The jackrabbit-core-1.1.jar and other Jackrabbit 1.1 artifacts return
a 404 Not Found response from http://www.ibiblio.org/maven/ even
though they are shown in the directory listings of
org.apache.jackrabbit/{jars,poms,...}. Other artifacts (1.0 and 1.0.1)
can be downloaded normally. The 1.1 artifacts can also be downloaded
without problems from the m1-ibiblio-rsync-repository at
people.apache.org. See
http://www.ibiblio.org/maven/org.apache.jackrabbit/jars/ and
http://www.ibiblio.org/maven/org.apache.jackrabbit/jars/jackrabbit-core-1.1.jar.

Hello Jukka,

I wonder whether the path for the groupId org.apache.jackrabbit should
not contain org/apache/jackrabbit and not org.apache.jackrabbit.
Carlos might shed some light on that.

Antoine

Here are instruction on how to validate your Maven 1 poms:
   http://maven.apache.org/maven-1.x/plugins/pom/validation.html

Please do, A lot has happened to it. I'd like to push out a release that
includes the pom converter. It's currently available only as a SNAPSHOT.

Yeah, were targetting an upgrade to Maven 2 for Jackrabbit 1.2. :-)
The upgrade has been taking longer than expected (we originally
targetted Jackrabbit 1.1) due to the number of custom maven.xml
scripting we've been using.

Is there an XML schema for Maven 1 POMs? I tried the maven-one-plugin
a while back, but it was still in early development and I didn't then
have time to hack on it. I'll go an have another look.

Thanks, BTW, for all the help in resolving this. Much appreciated!

Maven 2 ;)
A simple xml schema decalration and a good editor would do. Also I
think the maven-one-plugin for m2 will convert the poms and check for
correctness

Maven 1 doesn't complain so we have no early warning of these

Still nothing. Could it be a problem that I forgot to update the MD5
checksum and PGP signature of the fixed POM file? They are now correct
as well.

PS. Is the rsync script available somewhere for review? I could
troubleshoot the issue much better if I could see the script and/or
any output it logs.

I touched them in our side, let me know if it doesn't show up in 6
hours. Then check that the m1 repo has the right fixed pom

I fixed the jackrabbit-core-1.1 POM in m1-ibiblio-rsync-repository and
have tried touching the files a couple of times to trigger
synchronization, but the artifacts are still not available on Ibiblio.

Is there some way for me to trigger the synchronization or review any
other possible error messages?

Seems that they were not converted from m1 to m2 and m1 repo is just a
redirection to m2.
I'm gonna "touch" the jars to trigger the conversion. Let me know if
in 10 hours it doesn't show up under
http://repo1.maven.org/maven2/org/apache/jackrabbit/jackrabbit-core/

These days you want to look at:

http://www.ibiblio.org/maven2/

instead, where the 1.1 hasn't arrived (say, for core):

http://www.ibiblio.org/maven2/org/apache/jackrabbit/jackrabbit-core/

I've seen that before, and someone on the Maven team usually does
whats needed fairly quickly, once its brought to their attention.
