[dev] [jira] [Created] (LIBCLOUD-88) Swift storage driver needed.

Swift storage driver needed.
----------------------------

                 Key: LIBCLOUD-88
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/LIBCLOUD-88
             Project: Libcloud
          Issue Type: New Feature
          Components: Storage
    Affects Versions: 0.5.0, 0.5.1
            Reporter: Philip Schwartz

Currently storage drivers exist for only cloudfiles and s3. A driver for OpenStack Swift would be a good addition.

For this a cut down base connection driver for openstack is needed along with an addition of passing host/port to the constructor for the storage object should be used.

Thanks for yout contribution.

I have already posted a comment on a pull request diff regarding the Connection class refactoring and we have already talked on the IRC about reducing the copy & paste and making a bass "Swift" driver from which the CloudFiles driver should inherit.

Let me know if you have any other questions about the refactoring / implementation.
