[jira] Created: (INFRA-2436) install xvfb and firefox on vesta
install xvfb and firefox on vesta
---------------------------------
Key: INFRA-2436
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-2436
Project: Infrastructure
Issue Type: Improvement
Security Level: public (Regular issues)
Components: Hudson
Reporter: Ulrich Stärk
Right now tapestrys selenium-based integration tests are failing because of the lack of a firefox installation on vesta. These blog posts [1],[2],[3] explain how to do selenium-based integration tests with hudson on a headless linux server using xvfb. We need someone to install and configure xvfb and firefox, though, since we don't have access to vesta.
Cheers,
Uli

You should invoke Xvfb as part of your build with the parameters you need for your tests. We can discuss on builds@ if you want the details.

Thanks a lot Tim.
On which display and which screen is xvfb running? The default display 0 and screen 0?
