Desktop Based Client Server Application

Hi,


I want to test a Desktop application which is Client server architecture means its exchanging the data using TCP/IP protocols.


Can someone help me for performance tool selection for the same application?

Hi,

If you don't have underlying API to use, your options probably boil down to LoadRunner (WinSock protocol) or GUI-based tools (Eggplant Performance ?). 
 
If you do have API, you probably may find a way to invoke it from other load testing tools including JMeter.
