Criteria for graduation?
Does anyone have a firm sense of what additional milestones will be
necessary for ManifoldCF to meet to graduate from the incubator?

Right, the question is: just how many active committers does one need
to meet the "diversity" goal? Five? Ten?

It'd be good that all of us take a look at the Incubator graduation page
[1]. Even if that's "only" a checklist it does help us define what still has
to be done.
In my opinion, ManifoldCF has demonstrated the ability to make releases but
we should work on community growth; also diversity is an important concern
to address, looking at Lucene Connectors Framework incubating proposal [2] I
see committers have different affiliations but if there are 3 active
committers that doesn't sound so helpful in granting diversity.

I was going to say the developer/contrib community needs to be bigger, but I see
there are now 3 active committers, which looks like good progress.... though
maybe still not enough to exit incubator? Not sure.
Is http://incubator.apache.org/connectors/who.html up to date? No, looks like
it's not...
