    Resolution: Fixed

Closing this issue. Looks like the problem is fixed in the confluence doc. In the near future docs will be published in markdown format. In this format code cannot have curly quotation marks.

> I was trying to register a file system plugin mapping as per https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/DRILL/Registering+a+File+System , and was using the JSON there as boilerplate (I just edited the file system path). I kept getting mysterious failures to set this up in the web UI. After mucking around with it in various ways, I finally noticed in Eclipse that the JSON string contains smart quotes, which was causing a JSON parse failure.
> The sample fragments on this page need to be fixed; others should be verified. http://jsonlint.com provides a convenient way to validate JSON fragments.
